And the man most admired by Americans is ….
By Derek Wallace | December 30, 2008
Not really a surprise, actually: Barack Obama. What is more surprising is that even after eight years in office, the war in Iraq, eroding civil liberties, Hurricane Katrina and a collapsing economy, George W. Bush is still the second most admired man in America. For the past seven years, he’s been America’s most admired man, although he dropped to five percent in this latest USA Today/Gallup survey.
Politicians, predictably, make up most of the list of “most admired” men and women. Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin are one and two on the women’s list while John McCain comes in at third for the men and Bill Clinton still manages to tie for fourth. Joe the Plumber, unfortunately, did not make the list.

It is not “surprising”, it’s “shocking”…after all what he is doing to this country he still gets be the most “admired” man. I hope it’s all for “right” reasons!!
