Door Revolves Back To International Murder
By Samuel Ashwood | February 6, 2009
Since 1973, a specific type of murder has been legal in the United States, a type known as abortion. Any mother who wishes to slay her unborn child (the most harmless and innocent members of society) has the government’s approval to do so. Tens of millions of the unborn have paid the price for this gross example of high-handed judiciary legislation.
But government endorsement of abortion is not always confined to American shores. Taxpayer dollars have been used to fund abortion providers in foreign countries, under a system known as the “Mexico City policy.” Ronald Reagan rightly revoked the funding of overseas abortions, but it was reinstituted by Democrat Bill Clinton. One of President George W. Bush’s first acts was to follow in Reagan’s footsteps.
The revolving door continues with our new president, Barack Obama. One of his first acts as president was to once again open up American funding to foreign abortion providers. That’s right, the money you and I pay through taxes is used not only to slaughter the unborn in the United States, but also overseas.
Barack Obama is the most radical abortion supporter ever to disgrace the office of President. He has promised to sign the Freedom of Choice Act, if it ever passes Congress, an act which will strike down nearly every limitation placed upon abortion anywhere in America. His reinstatement of funding overseas abortion indicates his support for legalized murder is just that strong.
Many Americans rejoiced when Mr. Obama was elected president. I cannot but question why anyone should celebrate the election of any man, black or white, who would be happy to see every single unborn child murdered in the cruelest fashions imaginable. With those who believe in the sanctity of life, and see murder as the most reprehensible of human crimes, there can be nothing to celebrate about the man now ruling from the White House.
